Hashtable füllen

Kann man bei der Initialisierung eines Hashtable() schon sofort keys und elements übergeben oder geht das nur über put()?

Wenn du nicht angewiesen bist auf eine Hashtable (zB pre 1.2?) ,
würde ich eine Implementierung von Map empfehlen ausser Ht.
zB HashMap
wenn es eine synchronisierte Version sein muss über
Collections.synchronizedMap(Map)
synchen.
