[Please help me out here. Problem by eclipse settings]

Hi all,

I am trying to debug a small program, but i can't see umlaubts in the debug console, umlaubt's represented as some other things...
So how can I configure eclipse, so that it can show umlaubt correctly!!!

your help will be really appriciated!!!!

is the source code ok? if not:

Preferences, General, Workspace, Text file encoding,
or
Project, Properties, Text file encoding,

must be the suitable for the given text (if from another source) and the needed chars,
UTF-8 anywhere might be an idea

try a little bit, repair some chars, save and look if they are reloaded correcty
