Arrays.sort( ) Problem

Hallo alle,

Ich habe ein Problem mit [c]Arrays.sort( )[/c].

Ich habe ein array (Type: float[ ] ), warum nach dem [c]Arrays.sort( )[/c] verändert die Summe des Arrays?

Hier ist meine Code:

1. zuerst lese ich die Daten in array a1[ ];
2. berechne ich die Summe des Arrays;
3. Nach Arrays.sort( ), berechne ich die Summe des Arrays;

Ausgabe:
Vor dem Arrays.sort(): sum = 1778.062
Nachdem Arrays.sort(): sum = 1778.063

Warum ist das Ergebnis um 0.001 unterschied? [c]float[/c] hat doch nach Komma 7 stellige Genauigkeit, oder?

Das ist die Unschönheit bei Gleitkommazahlen.. Hat IMHO fast jede Programmiersprache (zumindest bei Java und C kann ichs fix sagen 😀).

Mit Double gehts genauer oder gleich mit BigDecimal... Es gibt aber auch ein Keyword, nur fällt mir das grad nicht ein..

ich würde dir BigDecimal ans Herz legen. Zwar rechnet auch BigDecimal in besonderen Fällen nicht korrekt, da intern auch double genutzt wird, aber schon sehr viel besser als float. Ganz sicher ist man nur mit long und der Angabe von Nachkommastellen (wofür Java aber immernoch keine gekapselte Klasse besitzt)

Was soll ich jetzt machen? soll ich Arrays.sort( ) order nicht? Welches Ergebnis ist richtig?

Alle Element in array ai[ ] haben höchsten nach dem Komma 4 Stelle. Also, [c]float[/c] reicht absolut. Nachdem Addieren, soll die Summe auch höchsten 4 Stellen nach dem Komma haben...

Ich finde, das Problem mit float vielleicht nicht zutun.

Funktioniert Keyword eigentlich oder nicht?

kommt drauf an was man vorhat, wie genau das Ergebnis sein muss usw.,
bei 7 Stellen wie in deinen ersten Ergebnis wäre mir float etwas knapp,
wenn aber auf ganze Zahlen oder eine Stelle nach dem Komma rundest, dann ginge es doch

in diesem Fall wäre es noch genauer und speichermäßig sparsamer, in int zu rechnen,
jede Zahl mit 10.000 malnehmen (wenn 4 Stellen nach Komma), auf int runden, die ints addieren
