Hallo zusammen.

Ich habe mit in Netbeans 14 ein einfach GUI zusammengeklickt. Einfach nur ein JFrame mit einem JPanel. Der Code sieht bis hier (alles automatisch von Netbeans erstellet) so aus:

Java:
package com.mycompany.test3;

public class MainWindow extends javax.swing.JFrame {

    /**
     * Creates new form MainWindow
     */
    public MainWindow() {
        initComponents();
    }

    /**
     * This method is called from within the constructor to initialize the form.
     * WARNING: Do NOT modify this code. The content of this method is always
     * regenerated by the Form Editor.
     */
    @SuppressWarnings("unchecked")
    // <editor-fold defaultstate="collapsed" desc="Generated Code">
    private void initComponents() {

        jPanel1 = new javax.swing.JPanel();

        setDefaultCloseOperation(javax.swing.WindowConstants.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);

        jPanel1.setBackground(new java.awt.Color(255, 255, 255));

        javax.swing.GroupLayout jPanel1Layout = new javax.swing.GroupLayout(jPanel1);
        jPanel1.setLayout(jPanel1Layout);
        jPanel1Layout.setHorizontalGroup(
            jPanel1Layout.createParallelGroup(javax.swing.GroupLayout.Alignment.LEADING)
            .addGap(0, 388, Short.MAX_VALUE)
        );
        jPanel1Layout.setVerticalGroup(
            jPanel1Layout.createParallelGroup(javax.swing.GroupLayout.Alignment.LEADING)
            .addGap(0, 288, Short.MAX_VALUE)
        );

        javax.swing.GroupLayout layout = new javax.swing.GroupLayout(getContentPane());
        getContentPane().setLayout(layout);
        layout.setHorizontalGroup(
            layout.createParallelGroup(javax.swing.GroupLayout.Alignment.LEADING)
            .addGroup(layout.createSequentialGroup()
                .addContainerGap()
                .addComponent(jPanel1, javax.swing.GroupLayout.DEFAULT_SIZE, javax.swing.GroupLayout.DEFAULT_SIZE, Short.MAX_VALUE)
                .addContainerGap())
        );
        layout.setVerticalGroup(
            layout.createParallelGroup(javax.swing.GroupLayout.Alignment.LEADING)
            .addGroup(layout.createSequentialGroup()
                .addContainerGap()
                .addComponent(jPanel1, javax.swing.GroupLayout.DEFAULT_SIZE, javax.swing.GroupLayout.DEFAULT_SIZE, Short.MAX_VALUE)
                .addContainerGap())
        );

        pack();
    }// </editor-fold>

    /**
     * @param args the command line arguments
     */
    public static void main(String args[]) {
        /* Set the Nimbus look and feel */
        //<editor-fold defaultstate="collapsed" desc=" Look and feel setting code (optional) ">

        try {
            for (javax.swing.UIManager.LookAndFeelInfo info : javax.swing.UIManager.getInstalledLookAndFeels()) {
                if ("Nimbus".equals(info.getName())) {
                    javax.swing.UIManager.setLookAndFeel(info.getClassName());
                    break;
                }
            }
        } catch (ClassNotFoundException ex) {
            java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger(MainWindow.class.getName()).log(java.util.logging.Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
        } catch (InstantiationException ex) {
            java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger(MainWindow.class.getName()).log(java.util.logging.Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
        } catch (IllegalAccessException ex) {
            java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger(MainWindow.class.getName()).log(java.util.logging.Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
        } catch (javax.swing.UnsupportedLookAndFeelException ex) {
            java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger(MainWindow.class.getName()).log(java.util.logging.Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
        }
        //</editor-fold>

        /* Create and display the form */
        java.awt.EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
            public void run() {
                new MainWindow().setVisible(true);
            }
        });
    }

    // Variables declaration - do not modify
    private javax.swing.JPanel jPanel1;
    // End of variables declaration
}

So blöd das nun auch klingt aber ich bekomme es absolut nicht hin, dass direkt beim Start in dem JPanel1 zB. ein Strich gezeichnet wird. Über Mausevents bekomme ich das hin. Aber iwie sehe ich den Wald vor Bäumen gerade nicht weil ich nicht weiß wie ich, ohne einen Event, direkt auf das JPanel zugreifen kann.

Gruß
Jan

Hallo.

Soweit ist das erstmal klar und das wird auch sehr helfen. Aber...

In dem Beispiel wird ja "per Code" ein Frame erstellt in den dann "per Code" ein JPanel "eingehängt" wird und von dem dann die paintComponent-Methode genutzt wird um zu zeichnen.

In meinem Beispiel habe ich das ja nun alles per Netbeans GUI-Editor zusammen geklickt. Somit habe ich keine eigene Class eines JPanels wie in dem Beispiel. Wie komme ich als nun an die Paint-Methode meines JPanels?

Gruß
Jan

Du erstellst Dir erstmal die JPanel-Klasse (z. B. Drawing), dann kannst Du im GUI-Editor in den Properties des eingefügten JPanels, im Reiter Code den "Custom Creation Code" eingeben, z. B. new Drawing().
