Umlaute ausgeben

Hallo zusammen,

bei mir werden Umlaute ständig als irgendwelche Hieroglyphen ausgegeben 🙁

ZB auf einem Button soll "Löschen" stehen, aber es kommt LÂschen oder sowas raus...(Applet)

Wäre für Hilfe Dankbar

Versuch's mal mit UTF-8...

Take a look at the geany manual
Geany

The java compiler assumes that the source file uses the standard encoding of the OS. In Windows that would be cp1252 which is mostly identical to ISO-8859-15 and ISO-8859-1. So you can set geany to either of those.
Alternatively you can also tell javac the encoding of the file. You could save the file as utf8 and then run javac like this "javac -encoding utf8 source.java"
